This week has just been one long Monday. We did have a bright spot. Hubby got a great report at his checkup. He has to go back in a couple weeks for one last check to be released by his surgeon. He was so very lucky and I am so very grateful!

Sadly there’s no Operation Christmas Child packing parties at church this year. But a club at school will be collecting items for the kids to pack boxes. So I think I’ll just donate what I have to them. I know some of the kids didn’t even know what it was so maybe this will help spread OCC to the next generation.

We have a major cold front headed our way with a huge drop in temps. Halloween night and the 1st they are saying our windchill will be down in the teens and 20s. They are also saying to expect to see our first sleet pellets and Christmas snow flurries. It won’t amount to anything which is good news. But considering it’s been shorts weather and 80 degrees everyday that cold will be a shocker.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

We had a wonderful weekend full of fun at the Georgia - Florida football game. We tailgated with 50,000 of our closest friends and enemies. The guy who plays Kevin on The Office was set up right behind us. We loved watching Georgia give Florida a "whoopin".

What a difference 24 hours will make. Today we'll see tons of sun with a high of 85F. Tomorrow, a high of 64F.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Monday Christmas friends!

It rained literally all day Saturday and yesterday. The cold front is here. We are starting our day at 32 degrees. It’ll be 24 degrees tonight and 20 tomorrow night. Then the temps will warm up again. It’s quite a shock.

Christmas Crazy that was quite the Georgia win! We caught most of the game between hubby switching channels to see how other games were going. The Razorbacks have been unwatchable all season. We are looking forward to basketball.

A Facebook friend posted about this and I thought I’d pass it along. A great way to spread Christmas Joy.

You can tell money is tight and competition is fierce among companies by the amount of early Black Friday sales. I’ve picked up some nice Christmas gifts from flash sales with free shipping I received emails about.
