Well, yesterday's famine turned into today's feast. Lots going on at work. I have a pilot run for one of my new cost saving designs today and a few other projects have landed in my inbox. I like it. I'd rather be busy. It makes the day go by faster.

I’m sure we’ve all seen these Facebook ‘Pay it Forward’ pages. I’ve been invited to 3 by some well meaning and sweet friends and I have accepted the invitations but I don’t participate. To me there’s nothing really giving about this. You make your 𝙰𝚖𝚊𝚣𝚘𝚗 Wish list and post it in hopes that someone will buy you something and if they do you buy something for someone else. Just a way to add more junk in our already too cluttered lives. Wait until people figure out that they are spending more than they are receiving back. The furs really gonna fly then. If you give do it with no expectation of return. That’s paying it forward. Guess I’m just feeling Christmas Grinch like today.

Today is my last day to work this week then I'm off for ten days. I'm ready for a break. Other than that, it's a normal work day. But when I get home from work, my son and his girlfriend will be there for a weekend visit. They live about 500 miles away. I can't wait to see him.
