Woke up this morning to thunder and rain and 60 cool degrees. It’s still raining now and it looks like it’ll continue for a while. The rain and the cool has definitely put me in a Christmas mood.

I put in my volunteer hours at the fair yesterday. The fair was always such a big deal growing up but every year it seems smaller now. I do enjoy helping and seeing everyone’s hard work pay off for them in ribbons. Usually I can find some new Christmas inspiration but I didn’t see much this year. Lots of Fall ideas though.

Lots of football, fair, and rodeo time this weekend. The weather has been so beautiful! We’ve almost reached that magical time when everything I buy for the child automatically becomes an early Christmas present.

And whoosh! The weekend is gone. Today will be a hot start to the week with sunny skies and a high of 92F. The Halloween season is fast approaching. I started digging thru our DVDs and pulled out our favorite Halloween movies.
