Good morning Christmas Friends!

Yesterday's forecast said 0% chance of rain all day and night. Then at about 8:30 PM, we had a severe thunderstorm that knocked out the power to about 5000 homes. The whole house was creaking from the wind. Our power only went off for about 5 seconds. Crazy.

Does anyone else have the Post-Leon-Day-Blues? After decorating the house for the Fourth of July and watching a Christmas movie last night, I'm feeling a little deflated this morning.

It "should" be sunny and humid with a high of 90F today. Thunderstorms are possible this evening.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Monday Christmas friends!

Our lake trip was nice. We stayed the night and came home yesterday afternoon. We made it in about an hour before a big storm hit. That was the biggest hail I have ever seen. Luckily we got all the vehicles under shelter. I know some folks around had their windshields busted. My garden got the worst of it. It really makes me sad but I’m trying to remember that all is not lost and it could have easily been much worse. It’s a nice sunshiny morning before a HOT week ahead. I missed the halfway to Christmas mark. It’s a downhill slide from here.

This Spring we went to a festival and I bought a small hand painted gourd ornament. We went to the Ark Encounter and I found another one I really liked. So now I have the start of a new collection. I have some spinner gourds planted. Hopefully the hail didn’t destroy them and I’ll have some to harvest and decorate for Christmas ornaments.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

Michelle and I watched a Great American Family Christmas movie last night, Christmas on Candy Cane Lane. I've watched four Christmas movies in the last five days. I think I'm getting anxious for Christmas.

It's 76F to start the day. That's nuts! And the forecast doesn't get any better until later next week. Today we'll see sunny skies and a high of 94F. And it only gets warmer after today. Stop the world, I want to get off!

Have a merry and blessed day!!!
