Good morning Christmas Friends!

It's been a sad morning. My mom called to let me know that my aunt passed away early this morning. She was my mom's sister and like a second mother to me. She had had complications from surgery since the first of the year and her body was just too weak to fight any longer. I was able to talk with her last week, so I'm glad about that. I know she's with Jesus now and feeling wonderful.

It will be a beautiful day with sunshine and a high of 84F. Humidity won't be too bad.

We bought our daughter an early Bday present. Her first vehicle. Her birthday is still a month away but we just bought it early. It’s a new Chevy Trailblazer and they’ve been hard to find around here. So when we found this one we thought it was time to just buy.

We got some rain last night. Not much…but we’re so thankful for every drop. Hay cutting starts today. Thankful that’s looking good too. Hubbys gone to a farm auction this morning. Think us girls will hit a couple yard sales before the real work starts today. I know at least one is an estate sale that has some Christmas stuff.

Another day in the hay. There’s a chance for scattered thunderstorms this afternoon so we’re keeping a close eye on the weather. We could really use the rain right now so I’m not going to complain.

I saw the neatest idea this morning. A really old TV and a vintage tinsel tree to use as photo props for Christmas pictures. How cool would that be?!

Good morning Christmas Friends!

I'm back in the office and were they ever glad to see me. I'm not sure I feel the same way. As soon as I sat down I was hit with a problem they have been struggling with all week. I think it's straightened out. Time will tell. My aunts funeral was very nice and a big celebration. We saw the smokey haze from the Canadian wildfires all the way from Northern Indiana to just south of Atlanta.

It is warm and muggy today. Our high will reach 90F. The summer sweatfest is on!
