Good morning Christmas Friends!

Lightning, thunder, torrential downpours, and tornados all weekend long and this morning. And all of it was 10 miles north of us. We barely got any rain this weekend. We've heard every storm go by and we've had the mildest weather. It's been really weird. But I think that's all changing this afternoon. The weatherman said we could get some storms today. We'll see. High of 75F today.

I did get to work in the landscaping some. I still can't do too much. My back had not regained its strength since the surgery. But that will come with time. So the landscaping is a slow process.

Glad the storms missed y’all! Over 4 inches of rain fell here primarily from 2 downpours. The hard rain was unreal. Lots of thunder and scary lightning too. The storms really fired up south of us before they rolled through Mississippi. Watching the aftermath there is so heartbreaking. Prayers of all those affected by these storms.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

It's a chilly start to the day at 47F. Our high will only get to 67F. But I shouldn't complain as we may not see 67 for a high again until autumn. It will be back into the 80s on Friday.

Tonight we're going to see Big Daddy Weave with some friends. We've seen them before and really enjoyed worshiping with them. It should be an awesome time.

I’ve been doing paperwork all morning and I needed to take a little break. I’ve almost got everything ready to finish our taxes. It’s never fun but I’m always so happy when it’s done.

The sun is shining bright but it’s really chilly today. They’ve been giving us a chance for major storms for Friday and then again next week. It’s pretty scary because they’ve been talking about it and ramping it up for several days now. I welcome the rain. Just wish it didn’t come with the storms. Some folks are still getting snow. I hope I don’t see any of that stuff til Christmas Eve.
