Good morning Christmas Friends!

Just another day in the life of a working man. LOL. Our garage door spring broke yesterday morning. Usually, the noise it makes when it breaks shakes the whole house, but I didn't hear a thing. I noticed it when the garage door opener could only lift the door about 3 inches. The garage door company is replacing both springs sometime this morning. It's always something.

It will be sunny with a high of 74F today.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

I am loving this early Spring weather. I had all the windows open yesterday and it felt so nice. It will be a little warmer today with sun and clouds and a high of 77F. I will be opening windows again. I will be attending a funeral this afternoon. A dear friend's dad passed away in his sleep the other night. For now, it's back to work.

We woke up during the night to Tornado Warning alerts going off. Pretty scary stuff. The hail was the worst for us. It was a quarter size and some larger. And the lightening put on quite a show. An area close to us took a hit with trees down and roofs damaged or blown off. Its the price we pay for Spring and yesterday was a gorgeous day with temps in the 70s. Today its right back to Winter and Christmas cold.

Good morning and Happy Presidents Day!

We went for a long weekend in Florida and returned last night. Yesterday was Michelle's birthday and that is the present she wanted. Saturday we spent the day in St. Augustine and then we went to Amelia Island to explore and walk the beach on Sunday. Well, mark Feb. 19th on the calendar. It's the earliest in the year that I've ever got a sunburn. I should have known better, but I was trying to decide whether or not to wear a jacket, not sunscreen. It was 70F, windy, and sunny for our 2-hour beach trip. We were looking for shark teeth but only found a bunch of neat shells.

I am working today, and Michelle is off work today. She said she was going shopping. She then asked if today was still considered her birthday. I said sure, why not? LOL

I was told on Friday that I would be leading the design of a new chassis for a concept vehicle. It sounds grander than it is. I'll just be reconfiguring a current chassis for more capabilities. So my Spring just got a bit busier.

Today will be sunny with a high of 76F. We will be getting into the 80s later this week. And the high 70s will be the norm for the rest of the month. This is a very early Spring.
