Good morning Christmas Friends!

Well, Michelle let me off the hook. She said if I took her to dinner and dress shopping (for our son's wedding in May) last night, that we could stay home on Saturday. DEAL! So we got a slice at our favorite pizza place and hit the department stores. She found a dress she liked, but it wasn't formal enough for our future daughter-in-law. So we will continue looking, but not today.

Women's college softball has started, so that's what we'll be watching today and tomorrow.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Good morning Christmas Friends!

It rained most of the day yesterday and all night, but now it looks like it might be moving out of the area. The rest of the day will be cloudy and cool with a high of 50F. We'll be heading to church soon then possibly out for Mexican food.

Have fun and stay safe today while you are "Super Bowling"!

Good morning Christmas Friends!

The Super Bowl was an entertaining game and the commercials were OK. Today will be a typical work day. I need to run out at lunch and get a birthday card for my son. He turns 30 this week. Holy moly, how did that happen? Doesn't seem possible. Today will be sunny with a high of 67F.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Monday Christmas friends!

Last week was crazy! Because of the weather our week was filled with make up games. I took my daughter prom shopping Saturday and she said yes to the dress. Now she wants to go to some more stores next weekend to make sure this is THE dress This week are tournament games but I’m thinking we’ll be watching some online. And we enjoyed watching the Super Bowl last night with friends.

Instead of flowers, I made my daughter a Valentines basket filled with some of her favorite things. I’m sure she’ll get flowers sent to her at school. It’s so hard to believe it’s Valentines already. Wasn’t it just Christmas?? Time is flying by at reindeer speed.

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day!

It will be another long, typical workday. But tonight, we dine! Every year a large group of us (8-9 couples) go out for Valentine's dinner. And we guys come up with a very nice, dress-up kind of place to go. But for the last several years, we have not been impressed with local upscale dining establishments. And we've tried them all. So this year we're just going to a steak house. All the ladies were OK with that after our recent experiences. But the only thing is, is that they don't take reservations. So I'm thinking we may be waiting a very long time or we won't all be able to sit together. Hopefully, it will all turn out OK.

It's going to be another beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and a high in the low 70s.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!
