Good morning Christmas Friends!

We've had a bunch of rain over the last few days but it looks like we'll be dry for the next seven days. But the cold weather moves in tonight. Our fireplace will be working overtime to supplement the heater.

Michelle has gone stir crazy being home all day every day. So this morning she got up, got cleaned up, and said she was going shopping. Hard telling when I'll see her again. LOL. So far, only one credit card alert.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Christmas Eve Eve!

The good news is we got our White Christmas! The bad news is it came with this COLD blast affecting so much of the country. Actual temperature is minus 3. Wind chill is minus 21. That wind howled all night. I’m thankful we still have electricity and no frozen water pipes. We have to head out soon to check the farms. That’ll be a most of the day job because even with the precautions we’ve taken I’m pretty sure none of our equipment will start this morning. I prayed for my animals and I even shed a few tears. They are well taken care of but you still never know what you’re going to find. I pray for others through this. I can assure you I’ve had enough Winter to last me all Winter, but it’s only just begun.

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve Eve!

Woke up to 28F and the wind is howling. We had about 2000 homes/businesses in town without power early this morning, but it has been restored to most already. Just a few hundred more to go. On a good note, the sun is shining.

Not much else going on today. It's a good day to do a jigsaw puzzle.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve!

Our cold water line feeding the water heater was frozen this morning. We took a hair drier and thawed out the line going into the top of the water heater. It froze right where the insulation stopped. Only took 10 minutes. PTL!!! Time to buy more insulation.

Today our son is coming over to hang out and play games. Then tonight we will go to church for the Christmas Eve service. Later tonight Michelle and I will open our presents from each other.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!
