Good morning and Happy Rudolph Day!
It's the 25th and that means I'll be listening to Christmas music today! I'll also get fitted for a respirator today at work for when we start checking everyone who enters the building for a fever. We'll probably start that tomorrow. Last night Michelle and I went for a drive and saw 4 houses with very small Christmas light displays. I guess it's catching on a little bit.

I saw on the news where people are putting teddy bears in their windows. People driving by or out for walks can go on bear hunts and look for them. Just something else to help lift all our spirits.

I've been told it's beautiful outside today. I can't wait to leave work and see for myself. We won't be checking everyone's temperatures at work now until next week. That makes my week easier.

Good morning! It's FRIDAY!
That still means something for the working folks. I get my temperature scanning training this morning then next week we'll begin scanning everyone who comes into the plant. No temp, you work. Temp, you go home/doctor. Should be interesting at first. I think a lot of people will fake a temp just to get sent home for a while.

Good afternoon!
We got up ate breakfast and went directly outside this morning. It was 68 degrees, cloudy, and beautiful. But we didn't go out for fun. We (myself, my son, and Michelle) had work to do. By 12:00 this afternoon we had taken down 85% of a 16'x24' wooden deck that used to be next to our above ground pool. Now I'm inside resting. Later I'll go outside for a fun walk with our dog Daisy.

Good afternoon everyone!
I worked outside this morning while it was still cool. Only 1.5 hours and everything I wanted accomplished this weekend was done. We watched a Christmas movie last night and today. We also watched the new Jumangi movie. Not as good as the last one, but it was OK. Could have done without all the language.

Only 270 Days! Woot Woot!!!

Good morning!
Last day of March. Wow. Our county went from 12 confirmed virus cases to 26 yesterday. And from 1 death to 2. I hope we can get a handle on this thing quickly. Too many people suffering in many ways. I'm still working in the office this week. We started 100% temperature checks for anyone who enters the building yesterday. I'm on one of the teams that checks people in the late afternoon (2nd shift). It was easy and I felt perfectly safe. 100% of the 200+ people that were scanned, passed. Next week when production starts back up we'll be checking over 1500 people daily.

Happy Wednesday Christmas friends! It is Wednesday right?? I feel like I’m stuck in that weird void between Christmas and New Years where I don’t know the time of day or even the day of the week.

Christmas Crazy I’m glad work is going good and that you feel safe in your new role. Bet you never dreamed you’d be adding temperature taker to your resume. This is all new to everybody. I saw yesterday that they’re saying we might have another round in the fall. I spent time yesterday on the phone with my dds teachers. One of which was almost in tears. She has a senior whose prom and class day have now been cancelled and graduation put off until August. That hurts my heart.

And Happy FALL! OK, it's not fall, but Michelle made some pumpkin bread and pumpkin cookies yesterday and they are sooo good. They make me wish it was autumn again. I brought me a mini loaf into work today for breakfast. Can't wait to dig into it. Very soon! In fact, it's now time!!!
