Good morning Christmas Friends!

We watched Dolly Parton's Christmas special this morning and gave Daisy a bath. I also wrapped a couple of presents for our son and put them under the tree. Today is prep day, again, for my hospital stay. I'm packing some cookies and beef jerky for snacking. I'll check back in when I can.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

My surgery went very well. The doctor said there was more swelling in my back than he expected, but was still able to get everything fixed. I am feeling great and I have been without any pain medication since seven yesterday morning. I had a great nights rest last night, but my back did drain quite a bit overnight, so it looks like I’ll probably be here until tomorrow. And that’s OK because they’re taking great care of me. Breakfast should be coming soon and Michelle should be showing up very soon also.

PT just came in and took me for a long walk down the hallways. Everything felt great. They said I can walk down the hallways by myself now so it’ll be nice to get out of the room some today.

Hello Christmas friends!

So embarassed to have been away for such a long time. I almost went blind early summer and required two surgical ops to save my sight. I was told to avoid all devices -- but did notate on FB - before, during & after healing. My eyes truly saw the Glory of God when my sight returned post op!!! Diabetic retinopathy progresses but at this point with glasses I can see!!

Knowing ya'll Im certain you prayed for me during my absence and just want you to know I've asked our Lord to mightily bless you!!
