Rainy and a few storms today into this evening. High of 85 today.

A thunderstorm rolled through around midnight. The thunder woke me up and the lightening was pretty intense. Haven’t checked the rain gauge yet but it poured down for awhile. We haven’t even dried up from the last rain yet.

Summer is back. After two nice cool days, today we'll have a high of 88F.

Oh well. We knew it was coming at some point.

The rain from Christobal is just getting here. It’s actually a pretty nice break from the mid 90 degree days we just had. We are expecting a lot of rain though.

We ended up with just 2 1/2 inches of rain...much less than predicted. And it came as a nice steady rain so not the super hard stuff that does damage. Last night we had an amazing lightning show but that was it. It did bring a cold front. It’s so chilly I turned the heat back on. :cold:

After being under 100F for the weekend today / this week we are back in the high triple digits. Smoke from the western fires keep the sky grey and stinky. Praying for those precious people!!!

Today is our first day of Fall weather!
81 today then highs in the 70’s for the next eight days.

Today was roasted marshmallow 114F.........again.
Thursday projected 118F.........hot cocoa overflow!

October 1st it will be 8 months of over 110-115F temps. If I could I would move in a heartbeat.
