I stayed up way too late last night watching the election results. Thank the Lord for coffee.
It's a bit cooler this morning at 50F. We'll only reach a high of 70F. It got a little windy last night so I grabbed Tom Turkey and put him in the garage for the next few days.
The outer bands of Nicole will come calling tomorrow and bring us lots of rain. It looks like the eye of the storm will go right over us Friday morning unless something changes.
I took tomorrow off from work to spend the day with Michelle. Our big highlight for the day will be grocery shopping in the morning. We need a lot of stuff including the final ingredients for Thanksgiving. If the weather isn't too bad, we'll head to Macon and grab a burger for lunch. They have a big burger contest going on in town.
It's windy and mild here this morning. Nicole is on her way tonight and tomorrow with 20 to 30 mph winds and gusts up to 45 mph expected here. Not too bad. Let's hope the trees stay in the ground.
Another crazy weather update. Colder tonight. Much colder tomorrow. And with the cold comes the rain. And with the rain a chance we’ll see some snowflakes. This little change in the weather has really boosted my Christmas Spirit.

I saw your FB post. I can't believe it. Snow will make it feel very Christmasy.
Good morning Christmas Friends from the eye of Hurricane Nicole. Or what's left of her.
We've had mild breezes with just a few gusts near 30 mph. Nothing bad at all. But we've had lots of much-needed rain. It should clear out of here by noon today.
Michelle and I will be heading to the grocery soon. Should be a very light crowd this early in the morning.
Sleet started last night and quickly changed over to big fluffy snowflakes. As warm as the ground was I’m surprised any of it stuck but it did. Just enough to be really pretty. And as a bonus driving home through it last night we saw our first Christmas lights of the season.
