Good morning Christmas Friends!

I got the rest of Halloween down and put it away yesterday. We got about 30% of the inside decorated for Christmas and I put just a couple of Thanksgiving decorations up outside. I'll switch that over to Christmas closer to Thanksgiving Day or on Thanksgiving Day if the weather is decent. I have to replace some lights on the dining room tree. All the other trees have working lights.

I cranked up the Christmas tunes in the bathroom while I got ready this morning. That is such a great way to start the day.

Church tonight and then maybe a trip to Hobby Lobby for more lights.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

Last night Michelle and I went to the Home Store to get LED lights for the dining room tree. I figured eleven boxes would be enough. So I took the boxes over to the inflatables area where they have power strips all over the place and started plugging in the lights to make sure they worked. Three of the boxes did not. So I put the three back, and grab three more, and two of them did not work. So I put the whole lot back. If the lights don't work from the factory, then I don't trust them to last very long at home. I'm going to get lights from Lowes tonight.

We are now 50% decorated for Christmas. We will try to get everything done except for the trees tonight. Friday and Saturday we're busy, so I'll try to get the trees done on Sunday, maybe.

It will be sunny and 81F today. I think that will be pretty nice.

Happy Thursday Christmas friends!

I got all the Halloween decorations taken down and packed away. I tossed the jack o lanterns on the compost pile and rearranged the pumpkins that are still good and my mums. I got the fireplace vacuumed and cleaned. We’re planning on putting our Christmas tree up Thanksgiving night. I’d really like to find a couple small trees to stand in each corner by the fireplace but so far I haven’t found exactly what I want.

There’s a big church Christmas bazaar tomorrow and I am so excited about it. I look forward to it all year.

I’m a huge Richard Paul Evans fan and today he posted the trailer for The Noel Diary. It’s one of my faves and the movie based on it will premiere Thanksgiving Day on Netflix. it looks so good!

It's going to be another beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and a high of 79F. Tonight after work we're heading to our first Christmas Festival this year. It looks like we'll miss most of the December festivals due to my surgery, so I'm glad we get to go to this one.
