Good evening Christmas Friends!

It has been a very fall-like day here. It rained overnight and when I went outside this morning I could smell the wet, decaying leaves. It smelled so much like fall. Loved it!

After church, Austin came over and changed the oil in his car and all three of ours. Then he helped put all the Halloween decorations up into the attic and got down all the Christmas totes (about 15 of them) along with all the other Christmas stuff including the trees. I love that boy! My back is toast and he is such a big help.

Now our house is all a mess, but we can decorate slowly so we don't wear ourselves out. We won't start until Tuesday night.

Have a merry and blessed night!!!

Good morning and Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a great Halloweekend. I did. Tonight we will be at church for Trunk-or-Treat. We're expecting about 1000 kids to come thru. It should be a good time.

It's going to be cloudy today with a high of around 75F. It was raining when I walked into work. Now my toes are soaked.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Good morning, Happy November, and Merry Christmas!

We had a great time at Trunk-or-Treat last night at church. We had over 1200 people show up. Had to go buy an extra $400 worth of candy in the middle of the event.

It's finally November and the shift from fall vibes yesterday to Christmas vibes today is huge. I listened to my Christmas 22 playlist in the car on the way to work. Such a happy feeling. I'll listen to Kringle Radio all day today in my office.

Today and the rest of the week should be in the upper 70s and sunny. That's a nice start to November. But come Thanksgiving time, it better be a lot cooler.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy1st day of November Christmas friends!

[CandyKane]

It was great to see so many kids out last night enjoying the huge trunk or treat that was set up. My daughter helped pass out candy this year. She was Leary about it at first but she really loved seeing all the kids dressed up so cute. The haunted walk was fun too. Halloween 2022 was a good one!

Now on to November 1st. Starting today everything you buy for anyone magically becomes an early Christmas gift.

I did learn something new this year. Beggars Night. I had never heard about it until a friend explained it. I enjoy learning about different areas and their customs and traditions.
