Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
Good morning Christmas Friends!
It's going to be a near-perfect day today with plenty of sunshine and a high of 76F. We'll be heading to the fair in about an hour or so. Can't wait to have some of that great fair food for lunch. I may even get a bag of cotton candy to bring home.
Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Friday Christmas friends!

Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
A friend shared pictures of the first snowfall in Minnesota this morning. Her dog was having a blast playing in it. It made everything look like a beautiful Christmas card.

Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
Last night I saw a post in a craft group about a Christmas tree. It’s a 4 foot lighted tree in a galvanized bucket. The lady who posted it was all excited because she said there was only one more left on her store shelf. I really liked the look of it and checked online and of course it’s in stock. It’s also $50. I actually went to order it and I thought girl wait a minute. All that is is a tree…in a bucket. And it’s 50 bucks. So I made a trip down to my basement and got our 4 foot tree. Then I went to the storage room in the barn and came back with a vintage galvanized bucket. I just kinda loosely put it together and I like it. It needs a few little touches but I think it’ll like great on the front porch. Wish me luck!

Word on the street is Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes have hit the Walmart shelves.

Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
Good morning Christmas Friends!
It's going to be a warm one today with a high of 83F. We are just hanging out with Michelle's parents today. They're heading back home in the morning. These visits are always way too short.
I gotta know. Did I have the first Christmas of 2022 or did someone beat us to it? We had our Christmas with Michelle's parents yesterday. I got two shirts, two puzzles, some cologne, a beach towel, and a Christmas ornament. Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas!
Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
Good afternoon Christmas Friends!
Michelle's parents headed back home this morning. We had such a wonderful visit. After church, we took Austin to the fair for lunch and walked around to soak up all the sights and sounds. There were easily 60,000 or more people there. It was packed and the roads and interstate leading to the fairgrounds were backed up when we left around 2:00 PM. Today was the last day of the fair.
Have a merry and blessed evening!!!
