A spaceship with four more astronauts will be docking there this evening. I also think it's pretty cool you can see it with the naked eye.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

It was downright cold this morning at 46F. Well, let's qualify that a little bit. It was downright cold for early October in the South this morning. So cold I wore a jacket for the first time this Fall.

The refrigerator repair man texted me and couldn't make it yesterday. So I rescheduled him for Friday afternoon. No biggie. It's just the garage fridge.

I’m up way too early enjoying my coffee and the quiet. Won’t be long until Christmas lights will be brightening my mornings.

Yesterday I harvested my sunflowers. Usually the birds beat me to them but not this year. I have lots of huge ones filled with seeds. I toss them out in the Winter and enjoy watching the birds find them. All the Winter predictions are saying it’ll be snowier than usual. If that’s true the little birds will be extra happy. I need to get my garlic planted but it is so dry. We need rain desperately. And with none in the forecast we’ll be back to feeding hay in the next few days.

Good morning Christmas Friends!!!

I am still loving this extended cool Fall weather. Normally fall only lasts a couple of weeks here. What a blessing! I am supposed to get my second shingles vaccine shot on Monday. The first one made me very ill for about 24 hours. But I'm going to call the doctor and see if I can get it rescheduled for this afternoon. I don't want to be sick next week. But I can lounge around the house this weekend if need be. Fingers crossed.
