Good afternoon Christmas Friends!

It was a very nice 60F drive into work this morning. We'll have a high somewhere in the mid 80s. Michelle and I are all packed and just waiting to get off work so we can head to the mountains for the weekend. Should have perfect weather. We're already planning another trip for November a little further north into North Carolina. There are some nice little towns up there.

Can you believe that there are only 100 days until Christmas?!

Good morning Christmas Friends!

We had a fabulous time in the mountains this weekend. Everything was near perfect. The weather, the food, the company, the resort, the drives, the waterfalls, the scenic views. We really enjoyed our time there. I think we're heading back again in November. There were a few other places we wanted to visit but didn't have the time.

Now it's back to work and trying to get motivated to "gitter done".

Good morning Christmas Friends!

We're starting out at 63F this morning and heading for a high of 90F. Hopefully, this week will be summer's last stand. They are forecasting 97F for Thursday, the first day of Autumn. But the temps drop quickly from there.

The pain in my back has returned since my last shot a few weeks ago. It looks like I'll have to just bite the bullet and have the surgery. So hopefully I can get that done in early December and go back to work before March. I'm thankful for such great healthcare being available, but I'm not looking forward to being laid up that long.

It will be typical project work today, or at least let's hope so. Tonight we are going out for pizza and Michelle has to return something at Marshalls. Which means we'll have to look around also.
