Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
Good morning Christmas Friends!
It looks like we're going to get some rain today. The cooler temps that come with it will be nice. High of only 83F today. Sweet!
I have lumbar epidural injections scheduled this Friday. I've had these done multiple times at another facility, but they no longer perform this procedure. So I had to schedule it at my local hospital and their procedure does not use sedation. I've had a myelogram where they inject a dye into the spinal canal without sedation and I passed out and went into convulsions with the needle in my back. Freaked everybody out. I'm worried it will happen again. So I called them yesterday to ask about sedation, but I'm still waiting for a call back. Fingers crossed. I still feel blessed to have great health care and options.
Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Oh my! Hoping it can be worked out and you’ll get the sedation you need for your injection. You are in my prayers Christmas friend!

Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
The hospital just called and said they do not and will not do any sedation. The lady basically told me to suck it up, and "women don't get sedated when they have babies". I didn't know whether to be offended or laugh. How many of them pass out and go into convulsions during labor? My wife didn't. Oh well. I guess I'll give it a try and see how it goes. They do these every day, so it's nothing new. Pray for me!CandyKane wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 1:42 pmChristmas Crazy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 11:50 am Good morning Christmas Friends!

I do hate to hear that. With knowing your medical history that will give them time to prepare a game plan that will prevent any problems. And I’m sorry you had a nurse like that treated you that way. There’s no excuse for that.

Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
It rained hard last night and it’s been sprinkling around all morning. I’ve spent most of the morning preparing some more veggies for the freezer. I still have a huge bag of squash and okra and I’m gonna give it away. People are gonna start hiding from me if I don’t stop showing up with squash. I’d just leave it on doorsteps and run but everybody has these dang cameras. They’ll know it’s me and bring it all back.

That’s too stinking cute! I’m seriously considering getting an outside inflatable turkey for Thanksgiving. Usually I just put out pumpkins.Christmas Crazy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 5:34 pm Found this guy at the At Home Store. Did not buy him.

Happy Thursday Christmas friends!

Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
It’s nice and cool this morning after yesterdays rain. I can definitely get spoiled to this. I just love this time of year. You can feel the buildup to Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
I know exactly what theme and how I’m decorating outside for Halloween. But Thanksgiving is tougher. I’m thinking about the turkey inflatable but I’m not sure.

Re: 2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates
Good morning Christmas Friends!
I have a vendor coming in for a visit today. So I will have to give them a plant tour. It's been years since we've been able to do this. Because of you know what.
Tonight we're eating out at a Mexican restaurant for a school fundraiser where Michelle works. They have great food.
It will be a rainy day today with a high around 80F. Not too bad.
Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!
