Good morning Christmas Friends!

Michelle and I are off work today. We'll be taking the truck to the dealer to have a service campaign completed on it. Center brake light seal may be defective and needs replaced. They'll check for any water damage also.

All the Christmas decorations came down yesterday. So sad. We cleaned the house since it was so bare. Now today we will bring back in the year round decorations.

Have a wonderful, warm, and blessed day!

Good morning everyone!

It was another frosty ride into work this morning at 33F. but our high today should be in the lower 60's with sun. So that shouldn't be too bad. Church tonight and then a quick trip to the store to get my mom a birthday card.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Happy Thursday Christmas friends!

We’ve got our 2nd snow on the ground in less than a week. Our first started Saturday. It was supposed to move in around noon but had already started by 9 am. We had to drive to the farm to feed and I swear I never saw so many stranded cars in my life. We were able to help 2 get back on the road but the rest were stuck until the tow truck made it. By the time it was all over our 6 inch snow was over a foot deep. It was beautiful though. Most of that had melted off when it started raining last night then quickly turned to freezing rain, sleet, then to snow. So we have maybe an inch this morning covering a thin layer of ice. Ironically I have used these cold snowy days to undeck the halls. I miss my Christmas stuff already.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

It's going to be a wet day today. The rain started a little bit ago and won't stop until tomorrow evening. Nothing heavy, so no flooding thank goodness.

I've been training a new guy at work the last couple of days. He's fresh out of college and very raw, but eager. I think he'll make it if he can learn to listen.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

I miss the snow. But not the ice.

Since Christmas we’ve all had a good round with COVID. Nasty stuff. One star….do not recommend. Me and my daughter have got through it pretty quick..hubby is still recovering. Add to that the bad weather and the fact that we will now be attending our 3rd family funeral in less than 2 months, the dreariness of January has about got me down. I need some Christmas cheer in my life.

I'm so sorry about all the funerals. That's gotta be rough. I'll add your family to my prayers.
Covid is nasty. I hope I never have to go thru that again.
