We are fine here. Out of all the watches yesterday we got a little bit of wind and a little bit of rain. A large tree came down in the road near our house and some small things were blown around in yards. We were so, so lucky! Yesterday was so warm over 70 degrees and the wind blew all day. Today a high of barely 40. It’s right at freezing now and going as low as 28 degrees tonight. With that kind of change you knew something big was gonna happen.

The last I saw the death toll in Kentucky was over 70. 2 in Arkansas unless that’s gone up today. I saw the pictures and videos that are coming out and it’s unbelievable. Heartbreaking..all we can do now is pray and offer any assistance we are able to give.

I thought I was gonna freeze solid at a Christmas festival today but it was worth it. Tonight we enjoyed our towns Christmas parade. Folks really outdid their selves this year. Our teenager abandoned us for friends as soon as we got there. But I did see her before we left. When she ran me down for money. it’s a good thing I love her.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

Michelle and I went out driving around looking at Christmas lights while sipping on hot cocoa last night. We hit about four neighborhoods. It was nice and peaceful.

Today sure has been a Monday at work. Busy, busy, busy. I hope the whole week isn't like this. Just four and one half days left to work this year. I'm getting a little excited.

Sunny and high of 62F today. Not too bad.

Good morning everyone!

It was a cold start this morning at 34F. Should see plenty of sun with a high of 65F. I was looking at the extended forecast and Christmas day is looking like 68F with sun and clouds. THAT'S NOT CHRISTMAS WEATHER. Oh well. At least all the kids that get a new bike this year can ride them right of way.

Tonight is Christmas movie night. Which one will it be? I'll let Michelle pick.

Busy morning! I just finished working the food pantry. Packed lots of bags including some special Christmas ones. I wanted to start the new year off organized so I cleaned and got the shelves ready for the next packing.
