That is so true. And Sears calling theirs a Wish Book was spot on. I can still remember the way the book smelled and the pages felt.

It will be another typical work day with a sunny and warm day outside. Mid 70's for a high.

I'm taking a vacation day tomorrow for Veterans Day. Michelle and I are going fishing in the morning once it warms a bit. I don't suspect they will be biting, but you never know.

Another cold, rainy day for us. Yesterday I made a big ol pot of homemade chili. I used a Pampered Chef chili seasoning mix and it was so good! Definitely Christmas Eve worthy.

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!

I took a vacation day yesterday and Michelle and I drove up to the northern part of the state. Not the far north but far enough to see some wonderful fall foliage. At times we had leaves raining down on us from the trees that grew over the roadway. It was somewhat magical.

Today will be a wonderful Fall day with plenty of sunshine and a high in the lower 70's. We'll be considerably cooler tomorrow. But not too bad.
