Good morning Christmas Friends!

We completed our Fall decorations yesterday. The house looks great. Michelle ordered some mums from one of the local high schools and they should be coming soon. And then in the next few weeks we'll get a straw bale and some corn stalks to finish the front porch.

Praying for Louisiana and all in the path of this storm.

Good morning Christmas Friends and happy Bers Eve!

The best four months of the year are about to begin and I am over the top excited. This is the time of year I live for.

Funny story:
Yesterday when I got home from work, Michelle wanted to go out for dinner and then stop by Target and Hobby Lobby. As we were getting ready to walk out the door, she said we may need to buy some more Fall decorations as they look a little sparse this year. I was thinking the same thing when I walked in the door. Our decorations this year just seamed to not fill the house like they have in the past. I told her I think we're missing some decorations. But I had pulled all the totes marked "Fall" down out of the attic. As we climbed into the truck to leave, I said we would look at last years pictures of the decorations and see if we are missing any. After we ordered our food, I pulled up the pics and sure enough we were missing a lot of things. We determined I must have missed a tote somewhere but I didn't know how since they're all stacked together in the attic. So when we got home I went searching thru the attic found all of the missing items in a tote marked "Thanksgiving". Oops! Tonight we'll set out the rest of the decorations. Oh, and that didn't stop her from buying a few more at Hobby Lobby either. LOL.

Only a high of 83 today with the extreme outer bands of Ida hitting us today. May get some severe weather. But most likely we won't.
