Happy Tuesday Christmas friends!

[CandyKane]

The weather got a little wild here last night. Stuff blown around and a few trees down. It could have been so much worse. Sorry to hear someone was killed in your town Christmas Crazy. As much as I look forward to Spring I always dread the storms that it brings.

We’re into the last 3 weeks of school. The kids started a couple weeks later than normal so they’re going a few days longer than usual. My heart just breaks for the kids in states that didn’t open their schools this year. I can’t even imagine it. While some things have definitely been different the school year has been close to normal. We are so looking forward to summer and actually doing some family things. Summer break ranks right up there with Christmas!

Light rain and 55 degrees F. I turned the heat back on. I just finished a Christmas episode of Sanford and Son. Fred makes a great Scrooge.

I don’t ever recall seeing that before. That is something special.
Thanks CK!

Good morning Christmas Friends!

I came into work early this morning (6AM) so I could come in late tomorrow. The city said we could start using one of their facilities again (without restrictions) for our Men's Prayer Breakfast held every Friday form 6-7AM. Thus the adjustment to my Friday schedule at work. We are in our 11th or 12th year (depends on how you look at it. Thanks Covid) of hosting a weekly city wide prayer breakfast and I sure do miss it. And I miss the guys. It sure is nice getting some things back to normal.

We will have a near perfect day today. 77F and sunny. I like that!

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Yesterday I downloaded the PictureThis app. It identifies plants for you and gives you a ton of information about them. Dad and I took a walk and identified some wildflowers with it. It’s really neat!

Way cool! I wonder if it can identify weeds? I have one type of persistent weed in my yard that won't go away.
