Boy oh boy that weekend went fast. But we enjoyed it. We did a little bit of working, a little bit of shopping, a little bit of eating, and a little bit of resting.

It's getting much brighter on my drive into work. Before long I'll have to start wearing sunglasses.

It's going to be a very warm day with temps in the upper 80's. But tomorrow start a cool down trend that will stick around for a while.

Good Spring morning friends!

Last night I swapped out the cam shaft position sensor on my car, but it made no difference to the rough running engine. Oh well. It was a cheap and easy (3 minute) attempt to fix the issue. Tomorrow I will replace the idle air control valve (another cheap and easy repair) and see if it improves. If not I'll swap out the crank shaft position sensor which is a lot more involved. I don't mind swapping out all these parts as the car has 140K+ miles on it and they were going to go out eventually. I should be able to get another 140K miles out it. That is if the deer stay off the road. (I've totaled 2 cars hitting deer. They were old cars not worth repairing).

Cloudy and 84 today then the cooler Spring temps come back for a while. I like it when my A/C doesn't have to run.

Happy Wednesday Christmas friends!

Woke up to rain for the second morning. No thunder or lightning this morning. Just a nice steady rain. Our temps are gonna be colder than usual so that’s not good for the garden or pasture but it’ll warm up. Rainy days always put me in a Christmas mood.

The Walmart store we shop at most has gone almost completely self checkout. I’m not a fan of the self checkout but I guess I’ll get used to it. I guess I’m just feeling nostalgic today and longing for the way stores were when I was a kid. Things were so different..especially at Christmas.

Good morning all!

The cool down has begun. From the mid 80's yesterday to the mid 70's today. Don't you just love Spring weather?

The pressure is back on at work to get a big project done. Last week they told me not to focus on it because they were going to delay it. Suddenly it is no longer delayed. Oh well. I get paid all the same.

The Walmart store we shop at most has gone almost completely self checkout. I’m not a fan of the self checkout but I guess I’ll get used to it. I guess I’m just feeling nostalgic today and longing for the way stores were when I was a kid. Things were so different..especially at Christmas.

There is a grocery chain near us called Publix. They don't have any self checkout lanes. And one person rings up your groceries and another bags them and will carry them to your car. I love shopping there and the prices are very reasonable. Just like the "old" days.
