Good morning and happy March!

Rainy day ahead but mild temps are sticking around until tomorrow night.

My new manager starts today. He's a former employee that I worked along side of when he first started here 7-8 years ago. It's good to see him come back. He's a good engineer.

I got my new hard drives (2x 6TB) installed in the NAS this weekend. I now have 5.41 TB of usable storage space in a RAID 1. Time to import home videos from VHS tapes. Including our wedding tapes. But I'm really looking forward to watching the kids as babies and seeing and bringing back memories of my grandparents again.

Not much going on today other than work. Last night I edited a video that I imported from Hi8 tape. It was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2000. The kids were so little then. The Christmas "feels" hit me hard.

It's going to rain all day and all night. But we'll stay dry.

Good morning everyone!

It's going to be just another day of work. Yay!

I edited more home videos last night. I also went looking for my VCR and couldn't find it. Surely I didn't throw it away. Or did I? I hope not. But I can't imagine where it is. I may have to borrow one.

We got lots of rain over night but I think it's done for quite a while now. It will be sunny with a high in the lower 60's today. Nice!

I stayed home from work today. Yesterday I started getting a chest cold and over night it hit me hard. I slept in until 9:45 this morning. That is after I got up and got ready for work, just to call out.

Feeling a little better now. Cold meds are helping.

Good morning all!

Well, that cold turned out to be Covid. It has hit me hard. The fatigue is unreal. All I want to do is sleep. And eating has lost its appeal since I can't taste anything either. At least the headache has gone away. That was the worst part. Two other guys in my office have it also. They said we all three probably picked it up from someone about a week ago. I'm just wondering who brought it into the office.

Covid still has its grip on me. Stuffy head, cough, head ache, no taste, and a little fatigue. Michelle has lost her taste now plus some other symptoms. She gets tested at 11:20 today.

We will survive!
