Long drive last night. The bright side was seeing so many beautiful Christmas lights. Lots of folks have really gone all out this year.

I have never seen so many houses lit up for Christmas in the morning before. I live right on the edge of town so it only takes me about 90 seconds to get out on the highway. And in those 90 seconds I saw 11 houses beautifully illuminated.

More people are decorating outside this year than anytime before. I love it!

Each year I count the number houses lit up on my way home from church each Wednesday night. Last night was the first of those nights and I counted 50 houses. That's a great start for the first week.

Good morning Christmas family!

Last night I stayed up a little longer when I got home from church to watch my Hoosiers play basketball that I recorded earlier in the day. Thankfully they were victorious.

Work is still very busy but manageable at the moment. Today is my work anniversary. 19 years. Hard to believe I've been here that long. Starting in January I get an extra week of vacation due to my 20th anniversary falling within that calendar year. That will be nice to have this summer for trips back home to see family if Covid has subsided.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Thursday Christmas friends!

We saw our first Christmas snowflakes early this morning. Just enough for a light dusting. They sure were pretty swirling around in the outside lights.

How nice. I'm jealous.

Good morning fellow Christmas revelers!

Not much new going on here today. But tomorrow Michelle and I will be shopping in town for a small business event. Gotta support our local merchants.

Christmas lights will come off the roof this weekend so they can put on the new roof. All the construction materials were delivered in the front yard yesterday. 44 square of shingles. That's a lot of shingles for such a small house.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!
