Today is Thanksgiving prep day for the big meal. I'll be washing, chopping, boiling, baking, sorting, and packaging prepped foods that need to be baked tomorrow. Wishing each of you a great day preparing for the Turkey Day gratitude feast tomorrow!

Good evening everyone!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday with our son and his girlfriend. We went for a drive last night and looked at Christmas lights.
Today Michelle and I went and did a little shopping. Stayed away from the crowds for the most part. Then this evening we watched a Hallmark Christmas movie.
It's been a wonderful, couple of days.

Christmas Crazy: your Thanksgiving sounded lovely! How is your turkey coma status? LOL!
We visited my Sister's house despite several people being exposed to covid. Family first! I mean hasn't everyone probably been near someone who may have known someone later diagnosed? It was a sweet day, a very lean & healthy meal [darn!] and great time catching up with everyone in person.
My Christmas tree died so I will be using a 5ft poinsettia tree my sister gave me. I still need more batteries for candles, etc. but it must wait until the 1st check arrives. My Christmas cards will go in the mail tomorrow. So for now I'm singing Christmas carols, watching Hallmark movies, and enjoying fellowshipping virtually with loved ones near and far.

I am eating way too much food. My stomach feels so blah now. I can't wait to get back to work and back on a normal eating pattern.
I weighed myself today and I've gained 5 pounds this week.
Not good.

Saw lots of beautiful Christmas lights on our drive tonight. My favorite was a house with blue meteor shower lights in the trees.
