It's going to be another gorgeous day here with a high in the upper 70's. Only seven more hours of work and I'll be headed home to enjoy the weekend!
A few weeks ago I bought my first inflatable holiday decoration. A 4 foot turkey for Thanksgiving. Tonight it will be set up in the front yard. We have a few little neighbor kids across the street and I thought they might like seeing it.
Have a merry and blessed day!!!![]()

I’m just kidding.
We put up inflatables for Halloween and Christmas but now I’m thinking I need a big ol turkey for the front yard. It sounds awesome!

We love doing this too. It's the only time we get to buy toys for Christmas.
I can't wait until we have grandkids.

Happy Saturday Christmas friends!

Re: 2020 Countdown and Updates (Goal: 1000 posts by Christmas)
Happy Saturday CandyKane and Christmas Crazy! And Jolly........if you stop by the forum!
I have planned a quiet day today so won't be back online later. Just had to check in with my Christmas friends first! We were up all night Tuesday, and late other nights, still praying for honest election results. It is time for physical, emotional and spiritual rest to anchor next week by staying close to Jesus.
Wishing each of you a fun-filled Christmasy-prepping weekend!

Re: 2020 Countdown and Updates (Goal: 1000 posts by Christmas)
Good evening everyone!
I finally made here today. LOL. Michelle and I went to another arts & crafts festival up near Atlanta today then did a little shopping. We had a really fun day. I might start putting up the tree tomorrow. Only due to the fact that it's brand new, 12 feet tall, and I have to make sure we have enough lights. I'm guessing it's going to take about 40 boxes of 100 light strands. (4000 lights).
Have a good night. I'll see you tomorrow.

Happy Sunday Christmas friends!

Re: 2020 Countdown and Updates (Goal: 1000 posts by Christmas)
Had a long day at Club ball yesterday. I always look forward to the family time.
With all the early Christmas talk this year I was really surprised when we didn’t see one single house lit up on the drive home.

The first Christmas after you lose someone close is always the worst. Unfortunately over the last few years I’ve learned that all too well. So we are struggling a little with our Christmas cheer. I was really glad to get a shopping time at my favorite handmade pottery shop. Let’s just say fabulous things were bought and it brought a lot of joy to buy them for sweet friends. Christmas Crazy and Noel I can’t tell you more. It’s a Christmas secret..

Our Operation Christmas Child boxes need a few more items and I hope to finish them up this week so we can get them dropped off for collection.

I had to kill some time waiting this afternoon so I used it to finish shopping for our OCC boxes. Now they are all packed and ready. It feels great to be ahead of schedule and I now have time to start a new Christmas project.

Happy Monday Christmas friends!

Re: 2020 Countdown and Updates (Goal: 1000 posts by Christmas)
I’ve been seeing lots of 2020 Christmas decorations...Santa wearing a mask, elf in quarantine, an empty toilet paper roll wreath. Definitely not for me.
I’ll stick with my traditional Christmas.
