Happy Saturday Christmas friends!

I slept in this morning now I’m enjoying my coffee and the quiet because everybody else here is sleeping in too.

It’s so nice and cool this morning. Temps are in the 60s. It’s not every October when I have Halloween decorations on the porch while I still have my houseplants out there.

We had a nice family day. We attended a friends sons wedding. Ceremony was inside, reception was outside. It was lovely.

We got sad news this morning. The doctors have determined there is nothing else they can do for my hubby’s brother. When he is released from the hospital he will be going home with Hospice. While it’s not out of the blue it caught us off guard because he’s been doing so well. Hospice was wonderful with us for my mother in law. And I’m thankful he can go home where he wants to be.

I’m glad to be home and in my warm, cozy pjs. It’s really chilly tonight. Low temp will be down to 50 degrees F. It’s gonna take a bit to get used to this.

I really don’t like when Christmas Eve or Day falls on Saturday or Sunday. There’s just something about it that doesn’t feel right to me.

I’m up early enjoying my coffee and the quiet. It won’t be long until I’ll be enjoying my early morning time with my Christmas lights on.

It’s so cool this morning. Last night is the first night we slept without the air on in forever. Still not turning the heat on yet.
