Good afternoon, Christmas Friends!

There's been a mix of sun and clouds all day. We went shopping earlier, and now I'm back home, watching football. It's about 90F with some showers heading this way. I hear the thunder, so maybe they'll make it here. We need the rain.

Have a wonderful and blessed evening!!!

Good morning, Christmas Friends!

Well, things are not good right now. Nothing horrible or devastating, just not good. After many years, my plantar fasciitis flared up yesterday while we were out and about. By the time we got home mid-afternoon, I could hardly walk. And when I woke up this morning, it was just as bad. So I started the stretching and massage exercises first thing today, and they've helped a little. I'm hoping to be a lot better by tomorrow morning, but I'm holding my breath. I hated missing church, but I was not about to make it worse.

Anyway, that's enough of the pity party. I have my den window open this morning for the first time since spring. It feels so nice having some cool, fresh air in here. I'll be sitting right here all day watching football and doing a puzzle. And stretching, of course.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Good morning, Christmas Friends!

Can today be the last 90F+ day? I doubt it, but the forecast says it's true. Time will tell. The forecast also says our high will be 74F on Thursday. Hmm... I'm cautiously optimistic about that one. If our high is only 80F, I'll be happy. My foot is still sore, but I think I can still walk up the hill in the parking lot at work and make the .2 mile (300+ meter) trek into the office. Once I get inside, I should be set. Tonight we're having leftover grilled chicken and corn casserole.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Happy Monday Christmas friends!

Glad you’re doing better this morning Christmas Crazy!

I woke up to thunder and now I’m listening to the rain. Our air kicked off sometime. I didn’t even know it could do that anymore. It’s been a long time since it’s had a break. Our cold front has finally made it and I couldn’t be happier about it.
