Happy Monday Christmas friends!

Actual temp in the 30s last night. I’m not a big fan of that in October. I have seen snow flurries on Halloween. I’m not a big fan of that either.

I like October to be cool but not cold. November and December can be cold. But after Christmas, I'm ready for things to warm back up. I can dream, can't I? LOL

Good morning, Christmas Friends!

It's a chilly 45F to start the day. However, we'll have lots of sunshine again and a high of 81F. Last night, I cleaned out and prepared the gas fireplace. I also opened the windows and turned on the heat to let it burn off the dust so it would be ready to go when needed. The heater put out that distinct, beginning-of-the-cold-season smell. I'm hoping not to use the heater and use only the fireplace occasionally before Winter arrives. 'Tis the season!

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Lots of beautiful sunshine and a temp of 72 right now. The last 2 days have been really windy. Another cold front will be moving through in a few days and hopefully we’ll get a little rain from that. The last front gave us less than an inch and as dry as it is that’s really no help at all.

Happy Wednesday Christmas friends!

It’s a Perfect Fall morning. Temp is 46 but with no wind and some bright sunshine it makes it so nice outside. I’ve already got my walk in for the day. I have to get out and feed in a little bit. That’ll be a daily thing now until at least March. Maybe longer depending on weather. They sure didn’t consult beef farmers when they formed the grand plan about Argentina.

Good morning, Christmas Friends!

Last week was a sad week. One of my best friends succumbed to Leukemia on Wednesday night. It had gone into remission, but it took his life after coming back 5 weeks ago. It was so fast. My heart breaks for his wife, Windie, and that's where Michelle and I have been, spending all our time with her. The funeral is today, and it should be a wonderful celebration of his life. Last week, his daughter asked everyone to upload pictures with Ernie in them to a Google Drive folder. I uploaded over 300 photos, and I know I must have missed some. Ernie and Windie were the first friends we met when we moved to Georgia. We have shared so much life together over the last 20+ years. I will miss him dearly.

It will be a rainy and cool day with a high of 58F.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!
