Even though I know that it’s less than 3 weeks until Thanksgiving I am still shocked that it’s less than 3 weeks until Thanksgiving. I’ve started a whole house deep cleaning. I also started my menu and grocery lists. I am hoping to stay ahead of everything so I don’t start to feed overwhelmed and can just enjoy the whole holiday season.
We stayed home from church today. Michelle can barely walk as her foot is still healing. We'll watch it online. I am hoping to finish getting lights on the tree today. Then I'll have to decorate it. I've never done it by myself before. I'm sure Michelle will be right there to give me advice. We're having a rainy morning. The rest of the day will be cloudy with a high of 68F.
I'm posting late. We had a very busy day. It started with an appointment for Michelle with the foot doctor. Everything looked good. She moved from a surgical shoe to a boot. Then we went to breakfast at Waffle House, Stopped by Sams Club and one of her favorite clothing stores. When we got home, we filled Christmas Shoe Boxes, wrapped presents, and did a few chores. We're now relaxing. Soon I will go get our supper at Panera. It's been a great day.
We had a nice weekend. We had a college tour with our daughter. Pretty sure this is the one that she’s picked. It’s not too far from home and she has friends going there too so I’m happy. She’s been offered some excellent academic scholarships already. We also went and watched ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’. I thought it was really cute and the family may not have been thrilled to watch it with me but they never complained. It’s the little things in life.
Hope everyone had a good Veterans Day. No parade this year but there was a very nice ceremony. If you never enjoyed Veterans Day in a really small town you are sure missing out.

Red One will be playing this weekend. Not sure I can talk them into 2 Christmas movies in a row though.
