Good morning Christmas Friends!

While I was watching football last night, I glanced down at my phone and it said it was 59F outside. In disbelief, I jumped out of my chair and ran out onto the front porch, and sure enough, it was a little chilly out there. I felt like a kid who just found a bag of candy. I was almost giddy. We may dip down into the 40s tonight. Fall has finally arrived in Middle Georgia.

This morning, we'll be taking Daisy to the vet for her annual checkup, and then I'll be cleaning out the fireplace and getting it ready for the season. I will also have to sweep all the dog hair out of my truck. Fun, fun.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Good morning Christmas Friends!

This morning, it is 49 degrees outside and 69 degrees inside, and I'm loving it. Our plans changed this morning. Instead of going to Waffle House for breakfast and to a Fall Festival two hours away, Michelle wanted me to get Dunkin Donuts and stay home today. So now I get to watch college football ALL DAY LONG. Sheesh, the sacrifices I have to make for this family. LOL.

Today will be sunny with a high of 79F. When it warms up a bit, I'll open the windows and let the breeze flow through the house.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Monday Christmas friends!

I saw a post this morning that said there are only 10 weeks left until Christmas. Even though I’m fully aware it’s mid October it’s like I didn’t realize just how close it is. I think the weather had a lot to do with that. We’ve been back up in the 90s for high temps. That’s changed today as we’re only in the 60s. Headed for a low of 40 tonight then 30 degrees tomorrow night. I’ve already pulled out my fuzzy Christmas socks.
