Good morning Christmas Friends!

Heat, humidity, 90+ degrees, repeat. Same soup, different bowl. Oh, how I long for The Bers. Supposedly, the A/C at work will get fixed today. Probably right before we go home for the day. It is miserably hot in here. But the show must go on. We had propane delivered yesterday at the house. Now we'll be able to enjoy the fireplace this winter.

Things are finally slowing a bit after a hectic 4th of July week. We enjoyed lake time, big fireworks displays and a 4th party with family and friends. So much fun!

Beryl really saved us with the rainfall. We got just over 4 inches of rain and thankfully no severe weather. We were so dry before. It’s cloudy and cool and feels so good outside. I really love this time of year. No matter how hot it gets we get this little bit of cooldown to remind us that Fall is right around the corner.

I'll be back in the office today and tomorrow. I haven't heard if they got the A/C fixed. If not, I'll find a more suitable place to work at the front of the building where their A/C works great. Michelle is coming to take me out for lunch this afternoon. That's always a nice treat during my workweek. Today will be sunny with a high of 94F.
