It's back to the grind today for me. Michelle has today off for President's Day. She's taking me out to lunch today. At least I get a small treat for working on a holiday.

After a chilly weekend we are supposed to warm up this week and even see the 70s. We’re getting a break from ball games tonight and I’m a little excited about it. I love supporting the kids but it’s that time of year when we’re just tired.

It's cold this morning with a heavy frost over everything. But we should have plenty of sun today with a high of 65F. Our highs should be between 65 and 70 for the rest of the month. Flowers and flowering trees have bloomed. I think Spring has sprung.

It's a frosty 35F this morning. But it should be a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and a high of 67F. I'm looking forward to a good day at work. I'm hoping to work on my projects and not just everyone else's. Oh well. It all pays the same, right?

Good morning Christmas Friends!

Well, I did get to work on one of my projects for quite a while yesterday and help another guy finish one of his. So I count that as a successful day at work. Last night I had to replace our garbage disposal. The old one was leaking under the sink. I did that in about 45 minutes. (See picture below). I also installed a Laser Parking Assistant in the garage. My truck only has 4 inches of clearance in the front and back. The laser defines exactly when and where to stop as you pull in so you don't hit the wall and the garage door can still close. We will have sun and clouds with a high of 71F today. I wish I could work outside this afternoon.
