I have found the Perfect Christmas tree! I did some measuring this morning. While the living room can accommodate a 7 and a half foot tree, I think the 6 and a half foot would look much better in the spot I have picked out. I’m about to blow my whole Christmas decorating budget but after making do with a pretty crappy tree last year this is gonna be worth every penny.

Very exciting! You'll have to share a picture when you get it set up.
A 6.5 foot tree will leave you room for any tree topper you'll ever want. We have to keep ours low profile because our tree just about touches the ceiling.

That’s why I went with the 6 and a half foot tree. When I was a kid we always had great vision but low ceilings. I don’t remember a Christmas when our tree didn’t bend over at the top. Of course it was a real tree so it worked.

Just another work day for me. Tonight I will drop off my truck at the dealership to get the fuel pump replaced due to a recall. They'll have all day tomorrow to work on it. Let's hope it's finished when I get off work.
