2022 Christmas Countdown and Updates

[CandyKane]

The HEAT is on! Yesterday we briefly saw triple digits. Another heat advisory is on today. It is way too early for this. These are August temps for us. We are in need of a Christmas cool down.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

OMG! It was 82F this morning at 6:30 AM as I drove to work. That's nuts! And that "cool down" forecasted for this weekend? Gone! Now they're saying 100F Sat and Sun. I think I'm going to melt. I'm sure it will change three more times before Sat.

I have a few outdoor projects that need to be completed, but when I get home it stays in the 90s thru 8 PM or later. And that's just way too hot to be working out there. What's a guy supposed to do?

Anyhow, it's nice and cool in the office. So that's where I'll hang out today.

Only 100 days until Autumn!

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Good afternoon Christmas Friends!

A storm rolled thru yesterday afternoon and brought just a few sprinkles with it. But it also brought some cooler temps. After work, it was only 75F. It warmed up a little by supper time, 80F, and the humidity was thru the roof.

We bought Daisy a float for the pool, and we had to try it out last night. She absolutely loved it. Michelle will have fun in the afternoons floating with Daisy.

They're forecasting a high of 99F today. We're almost there. Blah!

Have a cool and blessed day!!!

Good morning Christmas Friends!

It's another day of SweatFest. We'll be sitting right around 100F again this afternoon. We had storms roll thru the area late afternoon yesterday. Not a drop of rain at my house after 3 hours of thunder. But at work, there are trees and branches down everywhere. Looks like a bomb went off in some places.

Michelle is coming to take me out to lunch today and then this evening I'm shooting a commercial for our Men's Retreat at church.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Thursday Christmas friends!

Tis the Season….to be in the hayfield. After it looked like we would come up short this year we were blessed with another hayfield. I am beyond thrilled! One of grandpas favorite saying is ‘you’ve got to make hay while the sun is shining’. That’s a great life lesson for everyone. Anyways the sun is shining, it’s already Hot, and I’ve got work to do. Have a great Thursday Christmas friends!
