2026 Christmas Countdown and Updates (Goal: 2300 Posts)

We’ve had some beautiful 70 degrees days. The wind was steady all day yesterday and the gusts were horrible last night. I’m sure that’s what’s been feuling the wildfires in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Prayers for the folks in those states. They sure could use them.

It’s much cooler this morning and gonna be colder for the next several days. But the daffodils are blooming and the Spring peepers are peeping. And that’s a good thing.

This weather we're having is crazy. Our low temp never went below 70F last night. IN FEBRUARY! I can't remember a February this warm.

I drove by a wheat field this afternoon, and it is already 4 inches tall.

It was a great Saturday. First thing this morning, I went and had coffee with a friend. Then I went to Lowe's and picked up some lumber to add a loft and a workbench to the shed. I got the loft completed before we went to a surprise 60th birthday party for a friend. Now, I'm just relaxing. So I'll say it again. It was a great Saturday!
