Good morning Christmas Friends!

How about those Kansas Jayhawks? What a comeback. Congrats to any fans out there.

With yesterday being 150 days until the Bers, I played my September playlist and really got the "feels". I'm longing for Fall, but looking forward to a long summer of fun.

We have a good possibility of severe storms today starting late morning to early afternoon. High of only 73F.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Happy Wednesday Christmas friends!

The storms rolling through early this morning woke us up and kept us up. We even spent a little family time in the basement. Thankfully no real damage came from it. Lots of rain means fighting the muck to get outside chores done. I’m not complaining because it’ll be hot and dry soon enough.

Christmas Crazy hope the storms missed y’all

Good afternoon Christmas Friends!

We had a very eventful afternoon yesterday. We had 2 tornados that touched down several places around us. Fortunately for us, one was north of us and the other was south. The south one destroyed some homes. No reports of injuries, PTL! Schools were locked down and sheltered in place for an extra 30 minutes past dismissal. All the parents waiting to pick up kids were brought into the schools until the storm passed. A school in the county north of us had downed trees and powerlines blocking access to the school. They finally got the last of the students out around 8:00 PM. Round two begins this afternoon.

Other than that, I'm just trying to keep my head above water at work.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!
