2026 Christmas Countdown and Updates (Goal: 2300 Posts)

Im feeling sentimental today. Sometimes I feel like I just get stuck in the ‘way back machine’. You know when you remember times way back when your long gone loved ones were all still with us. I have a sweet aunt that for almost 30 years has mailed me a Christmas card every year. This year she wasn’t physically able to do it. That hurts my heart. We had a wonderful Christmas this year. But tonight I’m missing Christmas past.

Happy New Year Christmas friends!

[CandyKane]

And Happy January! January kicks off 3 brutal weather months for us. I’m dreaming about next Christmas but I’m wishing for Spring.

We have a big family dinner tonight. Not everyone could make it for Christmas so this is the next best thing. It’s a nice way to kick off the new year.

I didn’t get to enjoy my coffee, the quiet, and my Christmas lights this morning because I slept in. I’m keeping my tree up a few more days so I can enjoy it as long as I can.

We had a great time with family last night. We had the football game on while playing card games. I must confess…we were rooting for Ole Miss!
