2023 Christmas Countdown and Updates (Goal: 1800 Posts)

It’s already 61 degrees and headed to a high of 65. So thankful after the weather literally tried to kill us last week. It feels way more like Spring than Christmas but I’ll take it gladly.

Watching the Liberty Bowl last night about did us in. A triple overtime Hogs Win! But it sure was hard to watch.

I stopped watching in the middle of the 3rd quarter. It seemed like Arkansas had the game in hand. I'm glad they won. They are the first SEC team to win a bowl game this year.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

I've been up since 2:45 AM. A bad dream woke me and then my bladder made sure I didn't fall right back asleep. My alarm was set for 3:15 anyway, so I just stayed up. This morning was the first time since my surgery that I was able to help with our weekly prayer breakfast. It was good to see the guys again.

Today, Michelle and I are going to Dublin, GA (about a 45-minute drive) to do some shopping. But we mainly just want to get out of the house. Cabin fever was beginning to set in during my recovery.

Today will be partly sunny with a high of 72F. I'm wearing a short-sleeved shirt out today.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Wishing all my Christmas friends a Happy and Blessed New Year!

Ever cooked a ham in your crockpot/slow cooker? I haven’t but I’ve seen lots of people talking about it and how it saves oven time and space for other things. I’m thinking I’ll try it for our Easter ham.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

It's 60F and foggy right now. Supposed to have sun and clouds with a high of 73F.

We're going to see the new Avatar movie today. Three hours without a bathroom break seems to be a little extreme. They need to build in an intermission for movies that long.

51 weeks until Christmas!

Have a merry and blessed day!!!
