We spent last night with family and it’s been a very long day today. Its sad but it seems like the only times we have big family gatherings anymore is for funerals and the occasional wedding.

Good evening, folks. What a night and day.
Last night, one of my crowns broke while I was eating some cashews. A very soft nut, in my opinion. I must have cracked the crown at some other point in time. Luckily, the tooth is only sensitive to hot and cold, and I am in no pain. I got an appointment with the dentist on Monday. They will call if they get a cancellation before then.

Then my daughter, who lives in Detroit, ended up in the emergency room this afternoon with a BP of 70/40 and numbness in her face, hands, and legs. They quickly got her stabilized, ran a bunch of tests, and sent her home, but could not determine what caused her symptoms. She has to follow up with her family doctor and cardiologist. I think she's getting exhausted. She has POTS and has been working 70-80 hours per week for a month. That's way too much.

On a good note. Michelle and I went to the Georgia National Fair for supper tonight. You just can't beat fair food (except on Thanksgiving Day).

Christmas Crazy I sure hope you remain pain free until you can get that tooth taken care of. Your daughter is a real go-getter but she really has to take care of herself and get some rest. I hope the doctors figure out what’s going on with her quickly.

It’s personal property tax paying week here. There’s just nothing quite like paying taxes on the things you already own to get the privilege of keeping them. That’ll put you in a bah humbug mood real quick.
