The power is on and it’s a beautiful sunshiny morning. The melting has already started. Hoping to get our wood supply replenished and some fence work done before the next round moves in Tuesday. The only good thing about Winter weather in late January and February is you can just see Spring on the horizon. It’s hard to believe we’re a month past Christmas already.
I'm glad your power is back on especially for the surrounding community. Sleet and freezing rain do not sound like fun. I hope it misses you all.

I stayed up until 12:30 last night but slept in until almost 9:00 this morning. Needless to say, I am well rested. I have to finish my grocery list and make that run to Walmart. I'm afraid the bill will be higher than last nights Sams Club run ($300). Once we're done with that, the rest of the day will be small chores and relaxing.

I have a dentist appointment this morning for my bi-annual cleaning then back to work. Nothing else happening this evening so I'll clean both bathrooms since I didn't get to them this weekend. Yes, I was a little lazy. Rain this morning then cloudy with a high of 60 today.

It's mildly warm and a little foggy right now. It reminds me of Oct/Nov. You know, the good ole days. LOL. Can you believe it's the last day of January? Finally! How many days in January? 60?
I'm going to the back doctor this morning. Maybe he'll release me back to the office this time. A small part of me wishes he wouldn't. It's been kind of nice working from home. Oh, well.

Day 2 Round 2 ice and sleet. It is definitely not fit for man nor beast out there. If there’s a bright side to this winter mess is that it’s mostly been sleet with the freezing rain staying south of us. We’ve still got Round 3 tonight and tomorrow. If we go many more days like this I’m putting my Christmas tree back up.
