I started decorating the front porch yesterday. I put the small Christmas tree I fixed in the galvanized bucket out there and I really like it. I thought I had some big red bows left but I can’t find them so it’s off to the store I go.

Thanksgiving at church was definitely different this year. It was a multi church event with some time devoted to Operation Christmas Child. The traditional meal was replaced with finger foods. It was nice.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

I couldn't sleep in on my first day of vacation. I was up at 6:00 AM. I guess I'm a little excited about Thanksgiving. I put the turkey in the fridge yesterday morning to thaw. Today is my annual cookie bake after the guy fixes the fireplace. I just hope my back can keep up. I may have to take a few breaks between some of the batches.

Good afternoon Christmas Friends!

We had a very early start today. I took Michelle for that procedure 50-year-olds have to get. It's only 5 years late, but we got it done. I had mine done at 55 also. We came home afterward and took a 2-hour nap and then watched the first two episodes of The Santa Clauses.
