Someone tell Mother Nature that it's autumn in the south too. We'll see lots of sunshine and a high of 95F. Sheesh. I'm looking forward to the cooler temps the tropical storm will bring later this week.

I just checked our calendar, and nothing is planned for the week except for our son's birthday dinner on Thursday night. Sweet! Maybe I'll get the tires rotated on my truck.

Good morning and happy Rudolph Day Christmas Friends!

It's just another workday. All eyes are on TS Helene this morning. I've noticed the tracking line has been moving west ever so slightly. But not enough to get us in the clear. So tonight I will prepare everything for the wind and rain. Right now they're saying 35 MPH with gusts above that and 4-6 inches of rain. It's always interesting when hurricanes come up this way. I hope they close schools on Friday. We'll see. Today will be cloudy with a high of 85F. Not too bad, just humid.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

It rained all night. Most of it was light. I'm sure the grass is loving it. Now we're just waiting for the hurricane to arrive. Tropical storm force winds should arrive around 8 PM and the eye will pass over sometime around 5 AM, give or take an hour.

I work today and everyone is planning on not working tomorrow. I'm sure this area will be a mess. The trees fall over with just regular storms and 30 MPH winds. They're still forecasting 80+ MPH. I feel for the people on the coast and that huge storm surge.

Anyway, it's off to work I go.
