Happy Friday Christmas friends!

I’m up way too early enjoying my coffee and the quiet. I wish my Christmas tree was already up.

Happy Saturday Christmas friends!

Our young niece was severely injured in a horrific accident. She’s going to be ok but she’s had one surgery already and will have another one next week. Prayers for our little trooper are greatly appreciated.

Stressed…..But still very, very Blessed!

Our niece had surgery number 2 last night. This child is way more our granddaughter than anything else and this is so hard. The surgery was successful and we are so thankful. After a few months of healing she will have to have surgery number 3. As bad as it is..it could have been worse. We know that all too well.

My daughter has to complete volunteer hours for one of her classes and she chose to do it here in her hometown. This place is always begging for volunteers and I’m proud of her for helping them.

I had to call customer service this morning and talked to an ai ‘assistant’. When it was done with our conversation it told me to have a good one. I said you too. Now that’s the way to start your day.

I'm so sorry she has to go through all that. Praying for successful surgeries and healing.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve Christmas friends!

[CandyKane]

It’s a busy day of baking and cooking. I need to pick up our turkey. I went ahead and ordered an extra turkey breast and I’m having it packaged separately so I can drop it off with our family and check on the girl.

It’s cold! A high temp of only 50 today and it’ll dip below freezing tonight. It definitely puts me in a Christmas mood.
