Good morning Christmas Friends!

Last night we went to the Georgia National Fair. We saw Sidewalk Profits in concert and had very yummy fair food. Today we're heading out early for a Fall Festival. It will be sunny with a high of 69F. Dang near perfect. We'll also do some Christmas shopping today.

Have a merry and blessed day!

Good morning Christmas Friends!

We had a perfect weather day yesterday for the Fall Festival we attended. We bought a lot "stuff" to decorate the house with this Fall and Christmas. I even got a new leather belt. This morning it is nice and cool at 43F. Our high will be in the low 70s. My goal this afternoon is to get the fireplace cleaned out so we can warm the house tomorrow morning. The walls are cooling down fast, and it is just warm enough this morning that we don't need the extra heat. But I fear tomorrow will be a different story.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Monday Christmas friends!

Enjoyed some family fun this weekend. Started out with football and ended at the pumpkin patch. We went to a small family run farm. I tell you they had every family member they could find helping out. We got lost in a corn maze for awhile then took a nice hay ride to the pumpkin patch. I picked out some really unique ones for my porch display and the kids got some to carve. One was a really pretty grayish green and I just love it. I have never had much luck growing pumpkins but I’d really love to do some research on them. I accidentally grew one in the compost pile this year.

In addition to our pumpkins we also came home with a new puppy. I’m still trying to figure that out. I believe that most people are good. They really are. But I will never understand how someone can toss an animal out like it’s a piece of trash. Our little girl came with a really sad story. It would be wonderful if a good family came along and wanted her but if not she’s home right here. She is the most mixed up little mutt you have ever seen. I was a little afraid of how our other dogs would react but they have played nonstop with her. She still needs a name. I’ll leave the kids in charge of that.

Absolutely broken-hearted for what’s going on in this world.

Thankful we have the light of Christmas

Nothing better than a rescue dog!
