Good morning, Christmas Friends!

We're heading to church soon and then out to lunch with a large group of friends. 20+ people. Should be an adventure. We've reserved a room at a restaurant, and they're setting up a private buffet for us. The manager said $12/person. I'm skeptical of that price. Their food is worth more than that. We'll see how it goes.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

My girl is packing up to move away… Not really she’s just packing to move back into her dorm. Luckily her college is close enough to home to come and go when she wants to.

Our son informed us yesterday that he will be moving 3 hours southeast of us. I'm so sad. He was our only child who lived near us. Now they are all scattered.

I’m done with summer. Today’s forecast is 101F. Enough is enough. Bring on The Bers and their milder temperatures.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Good morning, Christmas Friends!

It won't be quite as warm as yesterday. Only 94F today. ONLY! Austin is coming over for supper tonight. Michelle is making meatloaf; one of my favorites. Our hearts are heavy right now as Austin, our only child still living here in town, told us on Sunday that he's moving to Savannah. He got an assistant manager job at a restaurant and is very excited about it. We're happy for him, but not thrilled that he'll be 3 hours away. For the first time, Michelle and I will be alone on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Such is life, I guess.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!
