We had a thunderstorm last night. Nothing too severe just lots of wind and heavy downpours. It’s been really dry so the rain was welcome. We had days last week of near record high temps around 80 degrees. The storm brought a cold front. It’s chilly but the sun is shining bright today. Definitely feels more like Christmas.

Good afternoon Christmas Friends!

Last night Michelle and I went with another couple to a farm out in the middle of nowhere that had a large walk thru light display. You could also feed the chickens, ducks, goats, and turkey, and roast marshmallows and get hot chocolate. We even got our picture taken with Santa. Such a fun time.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Tuesday Christmas friends!

Late night ball games and long drives home. At least there’s some really beautiful Christmas lights along the way.

It was 22 degrees when I first checked this morning. 26 degrees when we fed. It’s now 40 degrees and it’s not going to improve much more today. They are giving us a very slight chance of seeing a few early Christmas snowflakes this weekend.

This summer we got two barn kittens, both females. Well those two little weasels took one look at their new barn and took off running for the house. We have one big rule with cats. They have to be spayed or neutered. So these two are now old enough and their vet appointment is soon.

A while back we had another cat show up. I just assumed it was a male that was hanging around for our girls. It soon became obvious that it was in fact a female. A very pregnant female. It didn’t take long for her to get her own milk and food bowl. Dd is thrilled because she’s getting kittens for Christmas. Hubby is happy because he loves cats. There’s no way they are giving any of these kittens away so I’m just sitting here kinda like the Tiger King himself thinking we are never gonna financially recover from this.
